School has officially started this last week and in response Lake Effect made some trips to some of Michigan's largest college towns.  Over in Kalamazoo Lake Effect performed on WMU's campus for Bronco Bash and then made a visit to one of the local hot spots, Harveys in the Mall.  The night was a filled with new faces as well as familiar.  The night climaxed when Griff from Vervepipe made an appearance and played the entire night with us. 

The following day the band headed for Ann Arbor where Michigan just celebrated their first victory of the 08 season.  The performance at the Heidelberg in downtown Ann Arbor capped off our weekend with our student friends.  Stay tuned next week though when we make our trip to Spartan town at the Rendevouz.
